Beautician School

If you want to become a cosmetologist, nail technician, esthetician, or hair stylist, the first step is to attend beautician school.

Like the self-improvement industry, beautician schools are less affected by factors in the economy and can be found in most cities and towns.  Once you’ve decided what kind of a beautician you want to be, visit a few beautician schools and enroll in the one you like best.  You’ll spend anywhere from a few weeks to a few months learning the basics.  Then, you’ll complete a certain number of hours working on actual client under the supervision of teachers at the beautician school.
