Beautician Education

There are a variety of places you can get a beautician education.  First, decide what kind of beautician you want to be.  This will determine what kind of beautician education you need.

A cosmetologist is certified to work on hair, skin, and nails.

An esthetician is certified to work only on skin.

A nail technician is certified to work only on nails.

A hair stylist is certified to work only on hair.

Find a school or program near you, and enroll.  You will complete a certain number of training hours for your beautician education, after which you must take a board exam to become certified.
